I am Dee (Denise) — a proud mother and a specialist photographer in maternity photography working from my studio in Dronten. For me, a pregnancy shoot is about trust and calm: capturing the moment when you feel most connected to your little one. As a maternity specialist I work in a soft, natural style so the emphasis remains on your emotions and the shape of your pregnancy. My approach is personal and attentive. We start with a thorough conversation where you share your wishes: do you want intimate portraits, images with your partner, or more editorial-style maternity photos? I collaborate with you, offer styling advice and present options for where and how we’ll conduct the session — in my styled studio in Dronten, outdoors in nature, or on location at your home. You don’t need to worry about wardrobe: you may use the client closet, which includes carefully selected maternity gowns and neutral pieces that suit my calm visual aesthetic. During the shoot I work with patience and gentle guidance. I demonstrate poses and give subtle directions so movement and expressions remain natural, creating a relaxed atmosphere — often with soft music and ample breaks. If you have physical discomfort, tell me; I adapt poses and always prioritise your comfort. Partners and children are welcome, and together we create spontaneous, warm images that bring those feelings back to you later. What motivates me is the awareness of how precious this period is. Since becoming a mother myself I know how quickly moments pass; my mission is to capture the fragile strength of pregnancy in timeless photographs you will return to for years.
