I work in a relaxed and personal way: first we’ll have an introduction where we discuss your wishes, favourite locations and preferred style. Many clients choose an outdoor location in or around Leeuwarden, but I also photograph in my studio if that feels more comfortable for you. Around weeks 30–36 the shapes are often most beautiful to capture, but I always tailor the timing to how you feel and what’s most comfortable. Styling and preparation are part of the service. You’re welcome to use my Client Closet, which contains carefully selected dresses and outfits that work well for pregnancy photoshoots. I provide styling advice so you don’t have to worry about clothing choices and can simply be yourself during the session. During the shoot I create a warm, calm atmosphere and guide you with small prompts, playful movement and gentle direction—no stiff posing, but natural poses and connected moments. About two weeks after the session I invite you back for a personal ordering session in the studio. Together we view a slideshow and select the images that matter most to you.
