I’m Dircoline van Dijk-van Ekeris, owner of Dircoline Photography in Apeldoorn, and my passion is maternity photography. Before the session we discuss your wishes together — from an intimate black-and-white series to light, airy images in the fields. I mainly work in beautiful outdoor locations such as the beach, heathland or forest, because these natural settings perfectly match my style: warm, calm and timeless. During the shoot I create a soothing atmosphere in which spontaneous moments can arise; I give gentle guidance but leave plenty of room for genuine emotion and connection. What sets me apart is my eye for detail and my ability to bring calm in front of the camera.
