Welcome — I’m José Schipaanboord and maternity photography is one of my true passions. From my studio near Barneveld and the Veluwe I document pregnancies in a personal, warm way. My style focuses on simplicity, authentic moments and the natural light that best enhances your story. I create maternity photos that don’t feel overly posed but show the connection between you, your partner and your baby in a calm, loving manner. Why choose a maternity shoot with José Fotografie? During the session I cultivate a relaxed atmosphere where you feel safe — and that produces the most beautiful, honest maternity images. My aim is to make your memories of this special phase tangible and timeless. How I work: we begin with a short introductory conversation, usually by phone or email, so I can hear your wishes and ideas. We choose the location together; sometimes I select atmospheric indoor locations in the Barneveld area, other times we use the natural light outdoors on the Veluwe. During the shoot I guide you gently and respectfully with simple directions so that interaction and emotion remain central. After the session I carefully select and edit the photos to preserve the mood of the moment. Practical and personal: due to my personal background and health I consciously accept a limited number of shoots each month. This allows me to give every pregnancy the time and attention it deserves. I typically respond to messages within two working days and I look forward to finding out whether we connect.
