I’m Lieke from yourstorybylieks and maternity photography is one of my greatest passions. As a specialist in maternity photography I don’t just photograph a bump — I capture the story of your pregnancy: the anticipation, the connection and those tender moments you’ll treasure later on. From my studio in Beuningen I work with calm and focused attention, but I’m also happy to shoot outdoors or at your home so you can be photographed in a place that feels familiar. My approach is gentle and personal. During a pregnancy shoot I take the time to make you feel comfortable — no forced poses, but natural postures and small, genuine interactions. I often work with natural light and choose simple, timeless colours and styling so the images look beautiful on your wall now and remain meaningful in years to come. If a partner or older brother/sister joins, I love to document the connection between each other and the growing baby. You don’t need to worry about clothing or props: I offer a client wardrobe you’re welcome to use. That means you don’t have to search at home, and together we can choose what best fits the style of the shoot. Whether you prefer intimate close-ups of the belly (belly photography), airy images in the greenery or a warm studio setting, my goal is the same: to honestly and lovingly record your story. As a photographer who is also a mother, I understand how special — and sometimes vulnerable — this period can feel. You’ll notice that in the atmosphere I create: calm, friendly and attentive.
