Do you prefer intimate studio portraits with soft wraps and controlled light, or natural photos in the woods or on a field? Both are possible: I photograph in my studio in Zevenaar and on location in the surrounding area. I maintain a client closet with dresses and wraps you can borrow, so you don’t have to worry about styling. I value a calm and practical working method for maternity sessions. I usually schedule the shoot around 32–34 weeks, when the bump is nicely rounded and you still feel comfortable. In the studio a session typically lasts about an hour to an hour and a half; on location we plan timing and light according to the desired result. During the session I create a relaxed atmosphere, with patience and clear guidance so you feel at ease — that’s when the most beautiful, spontaneous moments appear. My background at the art academy in Arnhem (graduated 2018) taught me to see light, composition and feeling. Since my studies I’ve been working as a photographer, and I take great joy in making portraits and maternity series. Personal contact is central: it’s important to me that we click, so you can relax and the images truly reflect you. After the shoot I help with selection and retouching so you receive a cohesive series that fits your taste — from soft, warm color grading to timeless black-and-white images.
