Maternity photography is one of the most special assignments for me: they are small, precious moments you want to keep forever. As a specialist in maternity photography in Stadskanaal, I see it as my job to capture the warmth, connection and true feeling around your pregnancy — pure, natural and without fuss. During the preparation I like to take time to hear your wishes — which location feels right, which outfits or personal items you’d like to include (such as a wedding veil or a cherished garment), and what style appeals to you. On the day itself I give gentle direction and encourage natural interaction; many of my favorite images arise in the small, spontaneous moments in between. My style is timeless and honest: soft lighting, natural colours and compositions that emphasize feeling and the relationship between you. The focus is on connection, the curve of the belly and the subtle emotion that belongs to this phase. The result is maternity photography that brings you back to that precise feeling of expectation and joy. I work locally from Stadskanaal and know beautiful locations in the Groningen and Drenthe areas, but I’m also happy to come to your home for a relaxed, personal session.
