I am Iris Klein-van Beek and have been photographing since 2015, running my business since 2019. Alongside my passion for photography I work as a specialised pediatric nurse — a background that brings calm, experience with young families and the ability to provide a safe, relaxed atmosphere. I bring that experience to every maternity session: from posing and lighting to guiding expectant parents so each moment is captured naturally and effortlessly. My style is soft and natural; I work a lot with natural light and look for locations that enhance your story — whether that’s at your home or in the beautiful nature of South Limburg. During the shoot I give clear, reassuring direction so that even those who are not used to being photographed feel at ease. You’re welcome to bring personal accessories, favourite outfits or meaningful items; those elements add extra value and make the maternity photos truly yours. The collaboration starts with a personal or phone consultation in which we discuss your wishes and ideas. I listen to your expectations and am happy to advise on styling and location. On the day itself I ensure a relaxed atmosphere and pay close attention to small moments: glances, touches and the unique shape of the pregnant belly. After the session you will receive an online presentation of the edited images so you can calmly choose which maternity photos you want to keep.
