As a specialist in maternity photography in Venlo, I combine technical experience with a personal, calm approach to capture the unique period of pregnancy. I’m Erick van Rijswick from Epic Fotografie — a self-taught photographer who has passionately built his craft and increasingly focused professionally on portrait, family and maternity photography. My goal is to create images that bring you back to the feeling of that time — pure, warm and often timeless. I work a lot on location, preferably in the natural surroundings around Venlo, where natural light and the environment help create relaxed, authentic images. Because I don’t have a fixed studio and work mobile, we can choose a location together that suits you: intimate, open or more graphic and minimalist. My style focuses on emotion and experience: subtle use of natural light, calm compositions and attention to the connection between partners and the life that’s growing. I approach each maternity shoot personally: beforehand we discuss your wishes, style and any concerns so the session reflects who you are. During the shoot I foster a relaxed atmosphere with clear guidance; I try to read people so that even those who don’t enjoy being photographed feel comfortable. After the shoot I personally take care of the professional post-processing. I work with an eye for detail and maintain a consistent, atmospheric look that suits your images and preferences.
