As a maternity photographer in Breda, I — Joyce of Taken by Joy — love to capture this special period while you await your baby with love. My specialty is maternity photography: a stylish, natural portrait session without gimmicks, focused on authenticity and intimacy. I work with natural light and choose locations where you feel comfortable: at your home, on the heath, in the dunes or elsewhere in the nature around Breda/Tilburg. My goal is that when you look back you’ll think: “this is exactly how it felt.” Practical and personal: I usually recommend a session between 29 and 35 weeks, but I always discuss the best timing with you. Tell me your due date and I’ll keep time available so we can schedule the shoot when it suits you. Sessions are flexible in case of bad weather, and I help with clothing choices — I personally prefer neutral colours and earth tones because they suit the natural atmosphere I aim for. If you use my client closet, pick something easy to wear and in which you feel comfortable. During the shoot I look for the most beautiful spots with you and work with the available light. I don’t just photograph the bump, but also the small touches, glances and moments of connection that make this time so special.
