As a specialist in maternity photography in the Eindhoven area, I help you capture this special period in a relaxed and natural way. I’m Ria van der Ploeg, and my approach to a maternity shoot is personal, informal and focused on real moments — no stiff posing, just enjoying the time together while I photograph. Why choose my maternity photography? Because I combine a love for the craft with years of experience in creating warm, atmospheric portraits. My style is lifestyle-oriented: I guide you calmly to beautiful locations (usually outdoors), avoid forced poses and give unobtrusive directions during the session so you feel at ease. Many expectant parents later tell me the session was surprisingly enjoyable and relaxed — exactly as it should be. How I work: we start with a short phone consultation to discuss your wishes and favourite locations. I provide outfit advice to ensure the images are harmonious and contemporary. On the day of the shoot I create a calm atmosphere; partners and children are welcome. If you’d like newborn photos as well, I often combine sessions so you end up with a cohesive series showing the transition from pregnancy to parenthood. What to expect from the images: warm tones, calm compositions and attention to detail (hands on the belly, moments of connection and emotional glances). I work efficiently and professionally so you can fully experience the moment, and afterward you’ll receive a carefully curated selection of edited photos. Options such as a small printed album or additional digital files are available and can be tailored to your needs. Location & coverage: I work from Waalre and photograph frequently in and around Eindhoven and the wider Brabant region. I’m also happy to travel outside this area by arrangement.
