Hi, I’m Marieke — a photographer based in Helmond with a deep love for maternity photography. My focus is on capturing that special connection during pregnancy: not forced smiles, but warm, authentic maternity photos that will become memories to keep. I work in a calm, personal way so you feel comfortable and real moments — touches, quiet glances, and the proud holding of the belly — come through naturally. My approach is simple and people-centered. Once you know you want to book a session, send me a message and we’ll reserve a date (the ideal period is often between 32 and 36 weeks). We’ll discuss beforehand which location suits you best: an outdoor location at golden hour for soft, flattering light; an intimate at-home shoot that brings your familiar environment into the images; or a studio setting at my home studio for calm, timeless photos. Before the shoot you’ll receive my detailed client guide with styling tips; there’s also a client closet where you can borrow clothing free of charge so the images remain cohesive and serene. During the session I work narratively and relaxed: I give small, natural prompts — never stiff posing — so your ease and love are visible. I guide you into positions that flatter your bump and pay attention to details like hands, textures and light. After the shoot I carefully select and edit the images so the warm, soft style you see on my site is reflected in your gallery. A few practical notes: I take time during a maternity session; if you prefer early evening or daytime photos, we’ll arrange that together.
