My name is Helmi Puts and since September 2007 I have been capturing special moments as a freelance photographer. As a specialist in maternity photography I focus on creating understated, loving pregnancy photos that strengthen your memories of this unique period. My style is calm, friendly and centred on genuine emotion—no forced poses, but attention to natural posture and intimacy. Because I don’t have a large studio, I often work with outdoor locations in and around Oisterwijk: these usually produce soft, natural images that suit a pregnancy shoot perfectly. Maternity sessions and other shoots can also take place in my indoor space; I’m happy to advise on light, clothing and backgrounds so your pregnancy photos look their best. Your partner is warmly welcome to join, allowing me to make portraits of you together as well as personal images of the expectant mother. My approach begins with a relaxed introductory conversation: we discuss your wishes, preferred locations and the atmosphere you want to see reflected in the photo series. During the shoot I create a relaxed, safe environment—I give gentle, approachable guidance so everyone feels at ease. Whether you choose an extended reportage or a shorter mini-shoot, I work efficiently and purposefully to capture natural moments. After the shoot I carefully handle professional retouching and deliver the selected images digitally within short lead times; that way you’ll have your pregnancy photos to share or keep quickly. I aim to make a beautiful keepsake possible for every budget and preference, so I offer several package options with no unexpected extras.
