I am Marije from Ixie Fotografie and maternity photography is one of my passions. As a specialist in maternity photography in Roosendaal, I capture your pregnancy without fuss: honest, relaxed and rooted in everyday moments. My style is documentary — I don’t direct, I observe. That’s how pure maternity photos arise, where small touches, a glance or the way you are together take centre stage. A pregnancy shoot with me feels like a visit to old friends. I often come to your home — it’s a safe, familiar environment where you can be yourselves. No stiff poses or over-styled sets, but moments as they truly are: sharing breakfast, a tender touch on the sofa or drifting off for a moment in the bedroom. These everyday acts become your personal time capsule. Practically, I prefer to work personally and attentively. We’ll start with an introductory chat so we get to know each other and I understand what matters to you. Two weeks before the shoot I’ll get in touch to go over the details. For pregnancy photography I usually advise scheduling the session around 34–36 weeks, so you still feel comfortable and the bump is beautifully visible. On the day I try to fade into the background; I click and wait for those small, meaningful moments. At home I look for natural light, calm corners and genuine interaction. After the shoot I carefully select and edit the images that meet my standards. You’ll receive an online gallery with high- and low-resolution files — perfect for prints and social media — and your most beautiful images will be presented in a 20x20 cm basic album. All edited photos from the shoot are included. My mission is clear: to make your wonderful chaos visible and tangible. No stress, no frills — just you.
