I’m Nancy Heijnen of Moments by Nancy Photography, and as a specialist in maternity photography I help you capture the special time of your pregnancy. With a background as a medical assistant and ten years’ experience as a maternity nurse, I understand the sensitivity, trust and respect that a maternity photoshoot requires. You’ll feel this in the calm and personal attention present during every session. My approach is warm, calm and personal. Whether you choose a maternity photoshoot in my studio in Roosendaal or prefer a reportage-style session at an outdoor location (woods, heath or by the water), I look for natural poses and intimate moments that tell your story. I work with soft lighting and ensure your shape and emotion are central — exactly the pregnancy photography you’ll be proud to look back on. In the studio you can make use of my client closet; I continuously expand this collection so you can choose dresses and bodysuits that are comfortable and photograph beautifully. I intentionally avoid extreme tulle gowns in the collection, instead offering stylish, flattering options that match my calm, natural style. Sessions typically last 1 to 1.5 hours, and partners and children are always welcome so we can capture your family together. Practically: I recommend booking a maternity photoshoot around 30–34 weeks, when the bump is nicely visible and you usually still feel comfortable. After the session you select your favorite images from an online gallery; I deliver professional retouching and also offer luxury albums for those who want a tangible keepsake.
