I’m Sophie Verstappen of Sophie Baby Photography and my passion is maternity photography. As a specialist in this field I capture not only the silhouette of your bump but also the feeling that makes this period so precious: anticipation, intimacy and love. Based in Tongelre (Eindhoven region), I often work with expat and high-tech families searching for stylish, timeless maternity photos. My approach is personal and caring. Before the session we discuss your wishes and preferences: would you like an intimate series with soft fabrics and floral accents, or cleaner, high-contrast images? I offer an extensive collection of gowns and wraps (from XS to XXL) and choose materials that flatter your shape and skin tones. During the shoot I create a warm, relaxed atmosphere so you feel comfortable — this shows in natural poses and relaxed facial expressions. Technique, styling and feeling go hand in hand. My photography background and years of experience ensure that light, composition and posing strengthen each other. I work thoughtfully: from the colour palette to the small styling details. Safety and comfort are always a priority; we take breaks and adapt poses according to how you feel. After the session I guide you through selecting your favourite images in a personal ordering appointment. Many clients choose a handmade album or a beautiful wall piece — tangible memories you can enjoy every day. I advise on formats, materials and layout so the final result fits perfectly in your home.
