I am Lea Verbruggen — a portrait photographer with a particular dedication to maternity photography. From my studio in Volkel and at carefully chosen locations in and around Uden, I help expectant parents capture their pregnancy in a way that is both honest and visually beautiful. My maternity work balances refined, aesthetic fine‑art images with warm, relatable lifestyle shots: pure, soft, and attentive to the story you’re creating together. A photoshoot doesn’t need to feel stiff or overly posed — quite the opposite. My approach is friendly and personal, sometimes with a light touch of humour (I won’t hesitate to make a small joke to ease the mood). That’s how genuine expressions arise: photographs that feel timeless, powerful and real. What sets my approach apart is a deliberate use of light, composition and professional retouching to produce photographic images that sustain and delight. In the studio I have full control over lighting, which yields beautiful, clean fine‑art portraits. On location I choose places that add character: a serene room, an open field or that special spot where you feel at home — so the surroundings reinforce your story. For a complete experience I collaborate with experienced makeup and hair artists. If you choose MUAH (makeup and hair) alongside your session, we dedicate ample time to one or more looks so the shoot truly feels like a moment for you. I guide you step by step: from the first contact (where we discuss wishes and style), during the shoot (I assist with posing and keep things relaxed) to the selection and retouching of the most beautiful images. Since 2015 I have developed my craft through courses and extensive practical experience — always with an eye for detail and respect for this special period of your life.
