Maternity photography is one of my core services: I concentrate on the purity of your pregnancy, the curve of your belly and those quiet moments that will speak the loudest later. My style leans towards relaxed rather than overly posed; I look for the single glance or touch that truly conveys emotion. Having spent years in front of the lens as a model, I know exactly how to put you at ease. During a pregnancy shoot I work calmly and thoughtfully: I make room for laughter, silence and in‑between moments, and give simple directions so you look natural on camera. You can choose an intimate studio session in my home studio in Amsterdam‑Zuidoost, a relaxed shoot at your home, or a location session in the city, the woods or on the beach — depending on the mood you want your maternity photos to reflect. Practically, I take into account the best timing for a pregnancy shoot: many clients schedule between around 28 and 34 weeks, when the bump has a beautiful round shape. For outdoor shoots we coordinate the weather together and agree on an alternative if conditions are unfavourable. After the session I meticulously retouch each image; my editing is part of what makes my images recognisable — the aim is for your photos to really stand out. Why choose Fotograveertje?
