I’m Michelle from Picture Us Photography, based in Castricum, and I specialize in maternity photography. For me a pregnancy shoot is about more than beautiful pictures: it’s a moment to capture your anticipation, connection and unique story. My style is warm, natural and relaxed — just as you’ll see on my website. No posing required! During a maternity session I guide you gently and personally so you feel comfortable. My background in film and photography helps me create cinematic, tactile images that hold emotion and atmosphere. As a maternity specialist I make sure the session feels easy and enjoyable. I take time to discuss your wishes and give practical tips on clothing and poses — always with the aim that you feel confident and at ease. My approach is friendly and playful; I offer directions and ideas but mainly observe and respond to real moments and interactions. After the shoot I work carefully in post-production so the images have a consistent, timeless look. I pay close attention to colour, light and mood so each photo fits within the story of your pregnancy.
