I am Sandra Bos, a specialist in maternity photography based in Haarlem. For me a pregnancy shoot is about capturing those vulnerable, powerful and loving moments that only occur during this period. My approach is calm and relaxed: I create a comfortable atmosphere so you can be yourselves — no forced poses, but attention to feeling and connection. As a specialist in maternity photography I prefer to work with natural light and I pay attention to small details: the soft curve of your belly, a loving gaze, the interaction between you as a couple. Before the session we’ll have a phone consultation to discuss your wishes and talk through ideas — from location (at your home or a spot in and around Haarlem) to clothing choices and styling. I enjoy thinking practically with you so the images reflect who you are. During the session I give clear, friendly directions that help you relax and move naturally. My style is timeless and honest: images that preserve color and emotion as they are, with a subtle, personal edit that suits the mood of your shoot. I love portraits that still move you years later; photos that bring you back to a feeling. Photography is personal to me: I grew up with the craft and continue to develop my skills through masterclasses and studies at the Fotoacademie. That background ensures I am technically strong while keeping a keen eye for emotion and composition.
