As a maternity photographer at Fotoster I focus entirely on the magic of expectation. My emphasis is on natural, timeless maternity photography where soft, refined light is central — the atmosphere my work is known for. In the Fotoster studio in Grootebroek (serving the Harenkarspel area) I create a calm, warm environment where you can feel at ease. During the intake we discuss your wishes: intimate portraits, a romantic shoot with your partner or a family session that includes siblings. I advise on clothing and poses, and you are welcome to use maternity gowns from the studio to achieve different looks. My approach is personal and relaxed. I guide you step by step, give clear directions and show you images during the session — this often dissolves any tension and brings out the most natural expressions. Because comfort and safety are important, we plan the shoot at a moment when you feel best. Based on experience, I often recommend scheduling between the 30th and 36th week when the belly is beautifully rounded and you can still move comfortably. Technique and post-processing are essential to the final result. I shoot in RAW, carefully select the strongest images and edit each one individually to ensure a consistent, soft aesthetic. Minor blemishes are retouched subtly so the photos remain honest and pure. The end result is a collection of images that not only look beautiful but also preserve the emotion and connection of this special moment.
