As a specialist in maternity photography, Captures by Lonn in Heerhugowaard captures the unique journey of your pregnancy with warmth, calm and attention to detail. I am Lonneke — trained in interior design and working in childcare — and that blend of design sensibility and daily experience with parents and children lets me work very sensitively and service-oriented with expectant parents. My approach is personal and relaxed. We choose a location together that suits you: at home, on the beach or a meaningful spot in the Heerhugowaard area. During the session I put you at ease with playful prompts and gentle directions so your natural interactions and spontaneous moments come forward. The most flattering time to photograph is often between 30 and 34 weeks, when the bump is nicely rounded and the mother usually still feels comfortable — but I always follow what feels best for you. Styling and small details matter to me: tender touches, exchanged glances between partners and subtle poses that tell your story. Thanks to my background in interior design I pay extra attention to composition, light and sightlines; that gives the images a warm, calm and narrative quality. Because I also work a lot with young families, I understand how important comfort and safety are during a shoot — you’ll notice this in my unhurried pace and gentle guidance.
