Hi! I’m Hanneke from Heiloo and I’m passionate about maternity photography. As a maternity specialist I capture this special, fleeting period with attention to emotion, light and form. My style is calm and natural: I work a lot with natural light and create a relaxed atmosphere where you are the focus. The result is timeless images of your pregnancy and bump portraits you’ll look back on with warmth. My approach is personal and approachable. Before the shoot we discuss what you like: outdoors in nature, cosy at your home or in a simple studio setup — everything is possible. I guide you with posture and small directions so you feel comfortable and can be yourself in the moment. Do you have particular wishes, outfit ideas or props that mean a lot to you? Although I started my photography career photographing pets — which taught me patience and how to capture personality — in recent years I’ve specialised strongly in maternity photography. That experience helps when finding quiet moments and working with different lighting conditions and locations. For maternity sessions I often recommend the period around 28–36 weeks as an ideal time, but I always consider what feels best for you. During the session I focus on connection: between you and your partner, between you and your growing bump, and on the small details that make pregnancy so special. I create a relaxed, safe setting so you can enjoy the moment. After the shoot I carefully select and edit the images with attention to mood and natural tones — photos that convey warmth and timelessness.
