I am Gretie Stelling, and maternity photography is one of my great passions. From my warmly furnished studio in the Hoorn area I guide expectant parents with careful attention during a maternity shoot that feels both intimate and relaxed. My starting point is always calm: a relaxed atmosphere produces natural poses, soft expressions and genuine connection — exactly the images you’ll proudly look back on. As a specialist in maternity photography I work carefully with color advice and styling. Before the session we discuss colors, textures and the possible use of my client closet with long dresses, so that clothing and background are in harmony. Whether you prefer a studio session or an outdoor location in nature, I make sure the overall image is right and that your pregnancy and the bond with partner and children are captured with tenderness. During the shoot I give small directions and create space for spontaneity. My approach is personal and patient; I take the time needed so you feel comfortable. Small details such as a hand on the bump, a tender gesture or a natural smile are important moments I consciously seek. Partner and children are welcome and always included in the compositions, so the series contains both portraits and warm family images. After the session I professionally edit the images and we plan a relaxed viewing appointment within about two weeks.
