I’m Eva Smeets, the creative force behind One Love Photography, based in Naarden. Maternity photography is one of my great passions: capturing that magical, feminine moment feels deeply inspiring. As a specialist in maternity photography I focus on creating intimate, timeless images that become cherished memories for years to come. My style is simple and clean. I’m personally drawn to black-and-white because it enhances depth and emotion, but I also use color when it better supports the image. During a maternity shoot I look for natural poses, subtle lighting and calm compositions so the focus always stays on you and your growing belly. The result should look beautiful on screen and even more stunning on your wall. How I work: we start with a personal conversation to hear your wishes—whether you want bold and sexy or soft and tender. Together we choose a location that suits you: at home, at a favorite outdoor spot, or somewhere in and around Naarden that feels special. If you don’t have an idea, I’m happy to suggest options and bring creative ideas and wardrobe choices. My approach is calm and guiding; I talk through the session so you feel at ease and your most genuine moments emerge naturally. Timing and preparation: for the best belly shape we schedule the shoot at a time when you feel most comfortable; I advise choosing the moment when you feel your brightest so we capture authentic images. During the session I create a relaxed atmosphere—no rush, plenty of small breaks and attention to your comfort throughout. What drives me: I’ve been photographing since childhood and in 2020 I turned my passion into my profession. It gives me great satisfaction when a photo matches the image I had in my head, and even more when that photo returns to a family as a treasured memory.
