I usually schedule pregnancy shoots between weeks 27 and 35, because that is often the most relaxed and photogenic period. For outdoor locations I often choose the dunes and beaches around Schoorl: the light there — especially during the golden hour — gives a warm, magical atmosphere that suits bump photography perfectly. Of course an outdoor shoot is not mandatory; I also work in calm, minimalist settings and enjoy creating black-and-white images that intensify the emotion. What sets me apart is the attention I give to your story and the calm, personal process. I take my time, work with patience and offer gentle guidance so you can feel comfortable. The aim is not a posed studio portrait but honest images of how you are together: touches, glances, a hand on the belly. I follow the moment and create a relaxed atmosphere so love and expectation naturally emerge. To make things easier I offer a client closet with dresses that drape beautifully during pregnancy shoots. I’m happy to help with colour and style advice so the photos remain timeless and reflect your personality. I also prefer natural light and simple compositions; this keeps the focus on you and your connection. Based in Purmerend, I often travel to the dunes near Schoorl — combining local presence with some of the most beautiful natural settings.
