Welcome to Saenmoments — the specialist in maternity photography in Zaanstad. My name is Marije and I capture pregnancies with a warm, pure and relaxed style. For me, a maternity shoot is about more than just beautiful images: it’s a keepsake of a unique phase you’ll want to revisit with joy. As an expert in maternity photography I guide you from first contact to the moment you receive your photos. I work closely with you to create a calm atmosphere, which helps produce natural poses and genuine emotions. Many expectant mothers feel a little unsure in front of the camera at first — I support you with gentle direction and poses so you feel comfortable and the focus remains on your bump and presence. Timing and styling are important for a maternity shoot. I usually plan sessions between 33 and 37 weeks when your belly is beautifully rounded. You can choose a studio session with varied backgrounds and flattering light or an outdoor location in nature for a light, flowing-gown look. I offer a collection of dresses and fabrics (tulle, lace, velvet) that I can use to emphasize your silhouette and personality. Whether you prefer intimate black-and-white images, high-key studio portraits or romantic outdoor photos in the golden hour, we’ll decide on the style together. During the shoot I take a calm, personal approach. I allow time for posed portraits, detail shots and relaxed moments so we capture both elegant portraits and spontaneous images. After the session I help you select your favorite shots and provide professional retouching so every photo reflects the mood and emotion you imagined.
