I am Mijke Derks and maternity photography is one of my great passions. As a specialist in maternity photography I focus on capturing those quiet, powerful moments while you carry new life. My aim is always the same: no staged images, but maternity photos that reveal the character and emotions of this special period—pictures you will lovingly revisit. My approach is personal and relaxed. We take plenty of time to discuss your wishes, your style and any doubts you may have. In my cosy home studio I create a calm atmosphere with lots of natural daylight and, when needed, my dedicated studio lights. Prefer an intimate session in your own space? I also work with a mobile studio and happily photograph on a beautiful outdoor location. That way you choose the setting that suits you best. My style of belly photography is warm, timeless and focused on authenticity. I encourage gentle movement, touch and relaxation so the images remain spontaneous and genuine.
