I’m Denise — originally from Twente and specializing in maternity photography from my base in Borne. My maternity sessions focus on your story and the genuine connection between partners and any older siblings. As a maternity specialist I work with a calm, personal approach so you feel at ease and the images remain natural and timeless. Preparation matters to me: we’ll start with a phone call or email to discuss your wishes, location and preferred style. A maternity shoot is usually scheduled between 30 and 36 weeks, when the bump is nicely visible. I photograph in my studio, at beautiful outdoor locations or in your home — whatever feels most comfortable for you. During the session I keep things relaxed and playful. The shoot lasts about an hour; we often change outfits to create a varied gallery. I provide practical styling tips beforehand and make sure the atmosphere on the day is calm so you can enjoy the moment while I capture your most beautiful, unposed moments. My style is warm, natural and attentive to light, color and composition — not staged poses, but real moments. After the session I carefully edit all images and place the best photos in a secure online gallery (a minimum of 60 images). In that gallery you’ll find both color and black-and-white photos and you can easily select your favorites. You’ll receive the chosen images in high resolution and without a logo or watermark. What drives me is seeing the emotional reaction when parents view their photos: that warm feeling, sometimes a tear, because the love and anticipation become tangible.
