I’m Maaike Mulder, and maternity photography is one of my greatest passions. As a specialist in maternity photography in Raalte and the surrounding area, I love capturing this special period in a warm, natural way. My style is soft and loving—no stiff posing, but real moments in which you recognise yourselves as a family or a couple. Many expectant mothers choose to be photographed around 30–35 weeks — often the most beautiful moment when the bump is clearly visible and you still feel comfortable. I prefer to work outdoors in nature for that warm, natural light, but photographing in your own home is always possible. Whether you want intimate portraits on your own, photos with your partner, or images including big brother or sister, I’ll help with composition and atmosphere so the result truly feels like you. What sets me apart is my personal and friendly approach. Beforehand I send a moodboard with clothing and styling tips so outfits and location come together beautifully. During the shoot I create a relaxed atmosphere—lots of room for movement, connection and small moments. I often shoot during the golden hour for that soft, golden light, but I always adapt to what suits you best. My patience and eye for detail ensure you feel at ease and that beautiful, natural images are created. After the session you’ll receive the photos in an online gallery where you can take your time choosing. I then carefully edit the selected images and deliver high-resolution files so you can print or share them.
