Hi — thanks for looking into a maternity photoshoot! I'm Jacobien Troost-van den Berg and maternity photography is one of my greatest passions. My approach focuses on spontaneity: I believe the most beautiful maternity images come when you can be yourself, have space to enjoy the moment, and let the connection with your partner or your pregnancy show naturally without forced poses. As a specialist in maternity photography in and around Staphorst, I love working outdoors in natural locations (I'm especially fond of heathland and sand drift areas), but an intimate outdoor or at-home session is also possible. Together we'll find a location that suits you and where you feel comfortable. Unsure about clothing? Send me a message — I offer styling advice and bring a selection of accessories (throws, a fur wrap, a wooden crate) to create variety and a playful atmosphere. During the shoot I keep the mood light and relaxed. My working style is personal: I guide you calmly, give subtle directions and pay attention to those small, special moments—hands on the belly, exchanged glances, a gentle smile. This produces maternity photos that not only show your silhouette but also convey the feeling of anticipation and togetherness. After the session you will receive a private online gallery where you can choose your favourites. I make a careful preselection and give the chosen images a natural, tasteful edit; temporary marks or small skin imperfections are retouched subtly so the result remains honest and timeless. My aim is that you receive photos you will proudly and happily share with family and friends. I also work part-time in employed positions, so I schedule shoots and delivery times with attention to quality and calm.
