We start with a brief contact moment to discuss your wishes: do you want images focused on your belly, portraits together with your partner, or photos of the whole family? Would you prefer an indoor location where you feel at ease or an outdoor setting? The most beautiful time for a maternity shoot is often between 30–36 weeks; your bump shows nicely then and you often still have good energy. During the shoot I create a relaxed atmosphere — gentle guidance, few forced poses and plenty of space for natural interaction. I pay close attention to light, composition and emotion so each image tells a story. After the session I carefully select the best shots and edit them subtly to preserve the mood and authenticity.
