I’m Leontine de Hollander, and maternity photography is one of my core specialties. Based in Alphen aan den Rijn, I capture pregnancies in a way that truly suits you: relaxed, warm and attentive to the small, intimate moments that grow more valuable over time. My style is natural and honest — not about perfection, but about real connection. Why choose me? I love documentary, “day in the life” style images and understand that a pregnancy is much more than a rounded belly. I photograph the love between partners, the interactions with (future) siblings, hands on the belly and those soft, expectant moments. I prefer to work with daylight, often in your home or at a favorite outdoor location. This creates a calm atmosphere where you can be yourselves. How does a maternity session work? We’ll schedule a suitable time (typically around 30–35 weeks, though every pregnancy is different) and decide whether you prefer a session at home or outdoors. I allow plenty of time for breaks, wardrobe changes and spontaneous play if children join. During the session I move around and photograph how things happen: cuddles, laughter, quiet pauses — no rigid posing but gentle guidance and lots of prompts to evoke natural reactions. After the session I’ll first show you a small preview and within a few weeks present the edited selection in a secure online gallery. You’ll receive the chosen images in high resolution and are free to print and share them as you wish. If you’d like, I can also advise on a printed album or photo book to make the memory tangible.
