I am Sanne van Es, and maternity photography is one of my core specialisms. From Bergschenhoek I lovingly and attentively capture the special months while you wait for your baby. My style is natural, warm and sincere — no forced poses, but images that show how you feel during this unique period. Why choose a maternity shoot with me? I work exclusively with natural light and I love to use the golden hour (morning or late afternoon) to bring out beautiful skin tones and the gentle curves of the pregnant belly. My calm, approachable manner — the same patience I use when photographing children — helps you relax quickly so the session flows naturally. How I work: before we meet I send a detailed brochure with practical tips on choosing location, outfits and timing (I usually recommend around 30–35 weeks). Together we decide whether to shoot at your home or at an outdoor location near Bergschenhoek and Rotterdam — dunes, woodland or a bright indoor space often suit my aesthetic. During the shoot I offer gentle guidance while leaving room for spontaneous moments; this balance creates natural portraits and tender detail shots. What you’ll receive: a careful selection of images, edited in my signature warm, contrast-rich style. You’ll get the photos via a secure online gallery, and I’m happy to advise on tangible keepsakes, for example an accordion photo book or a classic album.
