As a specialist in maternity photography, at Femke Verveen Photography in Delft I capture the beauty and emotion of those special months. My work focuses on one thing: making you shine while documenting the pure, spontaneous moments. My style is natural, relaxed and pure — just as I describe on the website. That means few stiff poses, lots of attention to feeling, and creating a safe, cozy atmosphere so you can be completely yourself. Why choose a maternity shoot with me? Because I concentrate fully on maternity photography and therefore know what matters in this period: timing, comfort and styling. I actively advise you on clothing and location and happily bring dresses from my client closet. These dresses are carefully chosen to fall beautifully in different environments and give you the chance to appear in a stunning outfit without extra stress. How do we work together? After your inquiry you’ll receive an informative brochure and a lookbook with examples from the client closet. I’ll advise you on the best time for the shoot (usually between 28–34 weeks) and recommend booking early so I can reserve space in my calendar. Together we choose a location that suits you — dunes, beach, forest or one of my favourite spots near Broekpolder or Monster — and we discuss which light and mood we aim for (golden hour is often gorgeous). On the day itself I create a relaxed setting: we chat, I give gentle direction and we make room for cuddles, movement and natural interaction. My goal is that later you look back on images that truly feel like you. After the shoot I send a quick preview and the edited images follow according to my usual delivery process, so you can enjoy the results soon. As a mother myself (based in Delft) I understand how precious these memories are. I am patient, calm and involved — qualities many parents appreciate during their session.
