I’m Sanne from Sanne Francis Photography, and maternity photography is one of my greatest passions. Since 2014 I have been capturing moments you want to keep forever — and pregnancy is one of the most precious of those moments. My approach is honest and relaxed: I prefer to work from a calm, atmospheric setting so you can simply be yourselves. As a specialist in maternity photography in Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht, I focus entirely on creating natural maternity photos. I usually recommend scheduling your pregnancy shoot between 30 and 35 weeks, when the belly is beautifully present and many expectant mothers still feel comfortable. Whether the session takes place at your home, in a favourite outdoor spot, or at another location that means something special to you, I create a warm, relaxed atmosphere where real moments naturally arise. My style is soft, light and attentive. I often stay in the background to capture spontaneous gestures and intimate moments, but I also give clear, friendly guidance when it helps — resulting in relaxed poses that look natural. Small details, such as a hand on the belly, the way your gazes connect, or the delicate lines of a dress, receive as much attention as the overall image. I work with careful attention to colour and contrast: not too dark, not too bright, and preferably with that subtle, atmospheric touch my work is known for. I understand you’ll want to enjoy the images soon after the session, so I do my best to edit and deliver maternity photos promptly.
