I’m Sabien from PhotographySabien, based in Hillegom in the Bollenstreek. Maternity photography is my passion: I consider it a privilege to capture the quiet, tender joy of pregnancy. My style is warm, honest and free from forced poses. I work playfully with small prompts so you can unwind and real, natural moments can emerge. Why choose my maternity photography? Because I focus on the pure and the calm — soft tones, natural light and attention to detail. I love golden-hour light and soft backlight, but I’m equally at home creating intimate, low-key portraits indoors. My calm and personal approach helps you forget the camera is there, resulting in images you’ll return to with love. How I work: we start with a short introductory conversation so we can agree on location, mood and wardrobe. For a pregnancy shoot I recommend scheduling around 30–32 weeks — by then you often still feel comfortable and the bump has a lovely shape. During the session I guide you step by step with simple prompts; nothing forced, always focused on your feelings and connection. You are welcome to use my client closet with dresses if you’d like. Personal connection matters to me. I want you to feel seen and at ease, from the first message until you receive your images. My background in childcare has given me extra patience and calm; you’ll notice this in the way I work with people during sessions. As a local photographer in Hillegom I enjoy working across the Bollenstreek and surrounding areas — a perfect mix of natural outdoor locations and atmospheric indoor settings.
