Before the session you’ll receive a style guide and a moodboard so you know exactly what to expect; I also share my client closet with exclusive dresses so you can easily choose what suits you best. Whether you prefer an intimate studio session at my Daglicht Studio in Rijswijk or a shoot at your home or a favourite location, I use soft, natural lighting and compositions that tell your story. Timing and convenience are important in maternity photography. I advise many expectant mothers to schedule their session between weeks 20 and 28 for the most flattering results, but I’m flexible and happy to discuss if you want to photograph earlier or later. During the shoot I work informally and calmly — no rush, gentle prompts and natural interactions so you can relax and truly enjoy the moment. The final result receives the same care as the session itself. You’ll receive a secure online gallery with a carefully curated selection of images, after which you choose your favourites.
