Hi, I’m Mariska from Mamariska Photography — a maternity photography specialist based in Papendrecht. As a mother, I know how fleeting and precious the pregnancy months are. My mission is to capture this chapter in a warm, bright and very natural way so you can feel again exactly how it was. Why choose my pregnancy shoot? Because I focus fully on maternity photography — this is my core expertise. My style is warm, light and authentic: no stiff posing, but gentle directions and simple prompts that reveal the natural connection and radiant feeling of being pregnant. I work a lot with natural light — the golden hour often brings a magical, soft glow — and I choose locations that enhance your story: sand flats, heathland, forest or a peaceful spot close to home in Papendrecht and the surrounding area. How I work: we ideally plan the shoot around 30–34 weeks, but I remain flexible and always listen to your wishes and how you’re feeling. During the session I create a relaxed atmosphere; you can come alone or bring your partner and children. I assist with outfit choices and composition, and you’re welcome to borrow dresses from my client closet free of charge so you always feel your best. With a background in pedagogy and extensive experience working with families, I bring patience and a natural sense for photographing (expectant) parents and children. That creates a relaxed, enjoyable shoot where you can be yourselves — and that authenticity shows in the images. After the session I carefully select the best images and edit them subtly so they remain timeless and fresh. My approach is personal: I advise on locations and styling, think along with you, and make sure the entire experience is pleasant and stress-free.
