I’m Karin from Blij Moment Fotografie in Pijnacker and my heart beats faster for maternity photography. As a specialist in pregnancy and maternity shoots, I don’t just capture your bump—I capture the connection between you, your partner and the unique sense of expectation. My work is built on calm, attention and those small moments when everything feels right: a breath, a hand on the belly, a loving look. My approach is gentle and personal. Many clients describe me as patient, flexible and creative, with an almost angelic patience for all the emotions and little challenges that come with a pregnancy shoot. During the session I’ll let you talk, cuddle or simply be together; I only intervene when I see the right light and a natural, intimate posture. That relaxed atmosphere ensures you get real moments and sincere expressions rather than forced poses. Depending on your wishes I work at your home—for an intimate, familiar setting—on an outdoor location for a natural, adventurous feel, or in my studio for a pure, clean look. I often recommend scheduling around 34–37 weeks so you still feel comfortable and the bump is nicely visible, but every situation is different and I’m happy to discuss the best timing with you. What sets me apart is my focus on emotion and detail: I notice small gestures, postures and light that together form a lasting memory. I combine a careful, almost documentary approach with creative framing so your photos are both timeless and personal.
