I’m Yolande van Kalleveen from PhoYographs, and maternity photography is one of my core specialties. From my home studio near Pijnacker and on location across South Holland, I create relaxed, authentic maternity photos that show your bond and anticipation. My approach focuses on calm and connection so the images feel truly like you. What sets me apart is a personal, consultative approach. Before the shoot we discuss your wishes in detail: which mood you prefer (intimate, natural, or celebratory), whether you want partner(s), children or pets included, and which clothing colours and styles suit the desired result. During the session I build a relaxed atmosphere by talking, offering simple prompts and inviting small, natural moments — no awkward posing, just genuine emotion. You can choose a lifestyle maternity session in your own surroundings or a more styled, subtly posed shoot in my home studio. The studio offers a selection of backdrops and soft lighting for timeless maternity portraits. For location shoots I select natural spots in and around Pijnacker and the Delft/The Hague region that complement your story and aesthetic. I treat technique and post-processing with the same calm attention: I use professional equipment (including a full-frame system camera) and edit photos subtly, respecting natural colours and skin tones. My aim is to produce images that aren’t tied to fleeting trends but remain timeless and personal. Safety and comfort are always priorities: we allow plenty of time, adapt the pace to how you feel and take breaks whenever needed.
