I’m Sam from Momenten met Sam Fotografie and maternity photography is one of my greatest passions. As a mother of three I know how precious and fleeting those months are — the anticipation, the closeness and the unique bond between you and your growing baby. I photograph with attention and care; my aim is to create images that, later on, will instantly return you to that feeling of expectation and connection. My style is natural and lifestyle-oriented: no stiffly posed shots, but moments that feel real. I love working outdoors during the golden hour — the beach and dunes near Spijkenisse are favourites — because that soft light adds a little magic to the photos. I also find beautiful spots at home where the light is most flattering; together we choose the location that suits you best. During the maternity shoot I give clear examples and small prompts so you feel comfortable and can simply be together. I believe in taking time and creating calm. That’s why I schedule maternity photography with your rhythm in mind: it’s best to get in touch early so we can secure a spot and the right moment. We’ll discuss the ideal timing for your maternity session — around thirty weeks often works well, but I’ll advise you if circumstances differ. During the shoot I allow time for nursing, a short break or a cuddle — nothing is required, everything is allowed. What you can expect from me: a warm atmosphere, plenty of patience and a personal approach. I don’t only capture the belly, but also the glances, touches and little details that become so valuable later. If you already have children, I love photographing the whole family, full of play and spontaneity.
