I’m Kim van Tuijl and maternity photography is one of my passions as a photographer. As a specialist in maternity photography in Amersfoort, I focus on capturing those intimate, vulnerable and yet powerful moments of pregnancy. My aim is not to stage what looks pretty, but to record what it feels like: the expectancy, the love and the quiet miracle you carry. My approach is calm and personal. We schedule the session for a time when you feel comfortable (I’m happy to coordinate the best timing with you) and choose the location that suits you: at your home for a warm, familiar atmosphere, in my studio for controlled lighting, or outdoors for the soft, golden backlight I love. During the session I guide you gently step by step; small prompts and encouraging words create natural poses and real interaction — never forced. Clients often appreciate my client-closet: I offer a curated selection of beautiful gowns specially chosen for maternity photography. That way you don’t need to prepare an entire wardrobe and can shine in a dress that flatters and elegantly highlights your silhouette. I work extensively with natural light and backlight because it brings warmth and depth to the images — the result feels soft and timeless.
