As a maternity photographer from the IJsselstein area, I give your pregnancy the attention and care it deserves. For me, maternity photography is about capturing the special, vulnerable bond between you, your bump and your (future) family. My style is warm, natural and relaxed: I like to work with soft, natural light and create a calm atmosphere where you feel safe and at ease. You can choose a studio session in my bright photo studio in Lopik or an outdoor location such as the Soesterduinen — each option has its own charm. In the studio I work with simple, timeless fabrics and backgrounds; outdoors we photograph among nature for an organic, fairytale-like look. During the shoot I give clear, gentle guidance so the session flows naturally; many of my best images come from small movements and spontaneous moments. Practical and personal: I usually advise scheduling a maternity shoot between about 28 and 35 weeks, when the bump is nicely rounded but you still feel fit enough. I’m happy to discuss preparation in advance: which colours and clothing work well, whether your partner or children will join, and which location suits you best. I offer styling tips so the final result feels cohesive and serene. I work with professional equipment (Nikon Z6 & Z6II) and trained at the School for Photography (diploma 2017). Since then I’ve followed workshops and continue to develop my skills to deliver ever better images. My approach is personal — from first contact to delivery of your photos — and I value really listening to your wishes. After the shoot I carefully edit the selection to preserve natural colours and a timeless look. You’ll receive the photos via a personal online gallery, making it easy to share, download and order an album or prints.
