I like to plan a pregnancy shoot together and help you choose the location: nature in the soft light of golden hour or the familiar, cozy atmosphere of your home. Walking from spot to spot creates room for relaxation and small conversations—those in-between moments often produce the most beautiful images. Sometimes I provide gentle direction or small prompts to evoke a smile, a touch or a movement; often the best photos happen naturally. My editing style remains natural and timeless. I value authentic colors and a soft look so the images will still transport you back to that feeling of expectation years from now. Because I combine photography with a background in youth and family work, making a connection and maintaining calm are important to me—you will notice this in how I work with expectant parents and any children who join the session. A little about me: I’m Marije, I live near the Waaldijk in Vuren and alongside photography I work part-time as a school social worker. Capturing everyday, unique moments gives me energy.
